Introducing ZYAH Collective  (formerly Rebel Home Dance) ZYAH - Zya means light in various languages/traditions (african, arabic and jewish, and more); the added H stands for healing-- Healing--- “Light Healing”.  Sheena Hampton-Johnson (SHJ)/ZYAH Collective promotes healing and liberation through inquiry-based writing and performance. Grounded in connection to land & place, and honoring the infinite knowledge of our bodies, ZYAH Collective utilizes our embodied histories as the site of departure for our work. We produce acts of public instigation that incite courage, imagination and change.
